for exploration of Tuscany and Umbria. It is 2 hours north of Rome
and 1 hour south of Florence. The hilltowns of Siena, Montepulciano,
Assisi, Perugia, Spoleto and the Chianti wine region are all within
1 1/2 hours away. Cortona is only a 10 minute drive to the A-1 autostrada,
and a few moments from the Camucia-Cortona train station.
